Another fun filled week!

In Nursery the children have really enjoyed reading ‘The Tiger Who Came to Tea’ and couldn’t believe how greedy the tiger was! The story has been retold across the classroom with tea making in the water tray; tea parties in the home corner; and using scissors to cut tiger stripes on the creative table. Outside, they’ve had a wonderful time playing in the mud kitchen, developing their scooping, pouring and digging skills – we’ve had some delicious bowls of chocolate mud soup and stone mud cakes! Pre-Reception have loved reading ‘The Little Red Hen’ and worked together to bake some delicious home-made bread. They have also enjoyed being ‘sound detectives’, searching the classroom with magnifying glasses for familiar sounds around them. In sports they have practised holding a rugby ball, tackled obstacle courses and played sharks and fishes.
